Wiggles Pizza Terms and Conditions

All Clients are bound by the following Terms and Conditions. 

1 – Booking Your Date with Wiggles Pizza

1.1 All event bookings must be confirmed in writing by the Client.

1.2 A booking fee is required to secure the services of Wiggles Pizza for the date and time of your event (this booking fee is non-refundable should your event be cancelled, see below)

1.3 All bookings are subject to minimum order quantity, these will be confirmed in writing by Wiggles Pizza to the Client.

 

2 – Booking Fee

2.1 A booking fee figure will be provided to the Client in writing by Wiggles Pizza once your booking request is received. This fee will be deducted from the total catering costs (please see our payment terms below).

2.2 The booking fee invoice will detail the estimated quantities ordered, venue and time where applicable.

2.3 Payment methods available include bank transfer, debit card or credit card.

2.4 Payments methods via third party agents, e.g. Paypal, will be considered at Wiggles Pizza discretion. Any additional fees through using a third party are payable by the Client. 

 

3 – Booking Confirmation

3.1 Once the Clients booking fee has been received, a confirmation email will be sent by Wiggles Pizza. 

3.2 The Client should refer to wigglespizza.co.uk/mobilepizzacatering to familiarise space requirements and what is included within the booking. 

3.3 All bookings are subject to minimum guest numbers which will be confirmed by Wiggles Pizza at the time of booking.

3.4 Any cost quoted will be based upon initial requirements outlined by the Client. The Client accepts that changes to start time, location or menu may incur additional charge.

3.5 Wiggles Pizza will accept amendments within reason up to 1 week prior to the event date. 

 

4 – Payment Of Total Event Costs Prior To Event

4.1 Payment in full is required for all catering services to be provided by Wiggles Pizza 30 days prior to the event.

4.2 The information provided at this point will be used to produce your total event cost invoice, arrange staff and order ingredients. Once the invoice is received by the Client, payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the event.  

4.3 Amendments to the menu or dietary requirements will not be accepted within 7 calendar days before the event. 

4.4 Should Wiggles Pizza be advised of any increase in quantity within 7 days before the event, Wiggles Pizza reserves the right to accept these and will raise an additional invoice following the event for these guests or extra pizzas needed, payment will then be due for immediate settlement by the Client.

4.5 As cancellation insurance is not available to a catering supplier, the Client is advised to arrange such insurance to recover their losses.

 

5 – Cancellations and Charges

5.1 In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled, confirmation in writing will be required by the Client. Your booking fee will be retained, and the following charges will be incurred:

5.2 Cancellation received 14-30 days prior to the event – 50% of the total event cost

5.3 Cancellation received less than 14 days prior to the event – 100% of the total event cost

5.4 The total event cost will be based upon the final invoice. 

 

6 – Dietary Requirements and Allergies

6.1 Wiggles Pizza will endeavour to provide suitable adaptations to the client’s menu for any special dietary requirements or allergies where reasonably practicable. We cannot however take responsibility for providing food that meets dietary or allergy requirements for any guests unless advised in advance. Any allergy requirements are to be discussed at least 14 days prior to the event. Any costs for additional ingredients above and beyond regular ingredients will be payable by the Client.

6.2 Wiggles Pizza will never guarantee freedom from cross-contamination of the following allergens: 

6.2.1 Wheat/Gluten 

6.2.2 Dairy 

6.2.3 Egg

6.3 It is the responsibility of the Client to determine allergy information from event Guests. 

6.4 Wiggles Pizza will provide signage on all menus or display tables, requesting to be informed of any allergens. 

6.5 Wiggles Pizza will provide details of allergens at events. Allergen information can also be found at wigglespizza.co.uk/allergens

 

7 – Clients Food and Drink

7.1 Wiggles Pizza accepts no liability for any food supplied to the Client by another caterer (or food products supplied by the Client themselves) in addition to those arranged by Wiggles Pizza by request of the Client or otherwise.

 

8 – Clients Use Of Wiggles Pizza Property and Clients Personal Property Or Gifts

8.1 The Client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment owned or provided by Wiggles Pizza for the event, including any issues caused by the Client Guests.

8.2 Wiggles Pizza will not be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the Client or gifts brought onto premises by the Client guests.

8.3 Wiggles Pizza accepts no responsibility for tidying up after Client guests. 

8.4 The Client accepts where Wiggles Pizza are set up, that it may result in that area becoming trodden, dirty or heat damaged. Wiggles Pizza accepts no liability for this. 

8.5 The Client accepts and acknowledges that Wiggles Pizza operates with woodfired ovens and is aware that smoke will be present. The Client is responsible for understanding the effects of woodfired smoke and communicating this to Guests. 

8.6 The Client is responsible for keeping Guests away from the woodfired ovens to avoid risk of injury.

 

9 – GDPR (General Data Protection Guidelines)

9.1 Wiggles Pizza is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Guidelines (GDPR). 

 

10 – Force Majeure

10.1 Wiggles Pizza shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Wiggles Pizza’s control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act oct of God, wind, fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.

10.2 Wiggles Pizza shall incur no liability if it elects to abandon an event where extreme weather may cause risk of harm to the Client, Clients premises, Wiggles Pizza or its staff, where a suitable sheltered location cannot be secured. It is the Clients’ responsibility to provide an appropriate location to safely set up for all weather conditions. 

 

11 – Conduct

11.1 Wiggles Pizza reserves the right to leave any event should any member of staff of Wiggles Pizza be made to feel uncomfortable, including being verbally or physically abused. In the unlikely event this occurs, no refund will be given.

 

12 – Access and Setup location

12.1 The Client will allow setup at least 1 hour prior to the start time of the event. 

12.2 The Client understands that the Wiggles Pizza Team will commence service at the pre-agreed time.

12.3 Service time is based on the quantity of pizzas required, at a rate of 25 pizzas per hour i.e. 50 pizzas will be for service up to 2 hours and so on, unless otherwise agreed. This will be timed proportionately. 

12.4 It is the responsibility of the Client to agree site set up location that is:

12.4.1 – 3m x 3m marquee space 

12.4.2 – A reasonable distance and space for equipment to be carried from the Wiggles Pizza vehicle to marquee, as defined as less than 50 metres unless otherwise agreed. 

12.4.3 – Level and structurally sound. 

12.4.4 – Appropriate for the weather, in particular sheltered from wind, if applicable. 

12.5 Wiggles Pizza will endeavour to overcome any restrictions where reasonably practicable, however access restrictions are not the responsibility of Wiggles Pizza. Wiggles Pizza reserves the right to refuse unreasonable access or site location. In the unlikely event of this occurring, no refund will be given.

13 – Future Changes to Terms and Conditions 

Wiggles Pizza reserves the right to change our Terms and Conditions when necessary due to the continual evolving nature of our business. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that they are up to date with the terms and conditions.
